Have you ever wanted to celebrate a milestone and incorporate your horse in your photos?

As I approached Silver Oak Farms in Bartonville, TX, I knew it was going to be a great session. The entry winds down to the barn, and once you get past the opening in the trees, you get a view of the barn, gorgeous outdoor ring with crisp white footing, and the covered arena in the distance. With it still being nice and warm here in North Texas (a brisk 92º), the grass was still green, the leaves were still on the branches, and the cool breeze was a welcome friend.

Lexie has been riding horses for over 20 years and has been a trainer for the last 8. With her 30th birthday approaching, a photo session was a great way to celebrate the upcoming milestone!

Levi has been with Lexie for nearly a year now. They’ve spent the last 10 months building a bond, building a future, and building trust. Her plan at the time didn’t include buying another horse but the opportunity came up and they’ve been together ever since!
