There’s something so special about finally getting to share bridal portraits after keeping them tucked away for over a month. We photographed Ellie’s bridal session on April 11, and now that her wedding day is here — and everyone has seen her in her dress — I can finally share some of my favorite images from this beautiful evening.

Ellie absolutely glowed during her session, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Her bridal portraits at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden gave us some of my favorite bridal images to date — especially in the cactus garden. The textures, warm light, and desert-inspired landscape felt so deeply rooted in Texas in the best way possible. It was elegant without feeling overly polished — natural, timeless, and full of character.

Bridal sessions are always such a sweet pause before the wedding day itself. A chance to slow down, soak everything in, and celebrate this season before the whirlwind begins. Ellie brought such a calm and joyful presence to her session, and it made every image feel effortless.
I’m so excited to finally share these now that the day has arrived. Congratulations to Ellie and her new husband — what a beautiful beginning.

If you’re looking for timeless bridal portraits in DFW, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is one of the most beautiful locations for a classic Texas bridal session. From soft garden pathways to the iconic cactus garden, Ellie’s bridal portraits perfectly captured the natural beauty and warm light that make bridal photography in Dallas–Fort Worth so special. As a DFW wedding photographer, I love creating relaxed, true-to-color bridal portraits that feel elegant, natural, and deeply personal to each bride.
