There’s something truly special about being a second photographer at a wedding. While I love leading a wedding day, stepping into a supporting role brings its own set of rewards that I’ve come to really appreciate.

One of the biggest benefits is the opportunity to learn and grow. Every photographer has their own style, approach, and rhythm throughout the day. Being a second gives me a front row seat to observe and absorb new techniques, creative perspectives, and even new ways of interacting with couples and vendors. It’s a hands-on experience that’s both inspiring and educational.

I also love the collaborative spirit of second shooting. My job is to support the lead photographer and help the day as smoothly as possible. Whether it’s capturing a different angle during the ceremony or assisting with organizing family formals, it’s all about being a team player— and I thrive in that role.

And let’s not forget the freedom to be creative. As a second shooter, I get to focus on the in-between moments: the groom’s reaction, candid guest laughs, the quiet details. It allows me to experiment a little and stretch my creative muscles, which ultimately helps me grow as an artist

Working with someone as talented and kind as Jolie makes it all the better. I always know the day will be fun, organized, and full of laughter. I’m so thankful for the chance to support her and be small part of the beautiful memory she creates for her couples.
